I've tried Solo, Studio and Solo HD. Considering the price, they all suck tbh. But Solo HD > Studio
It's definitely more of a fashion statement than anything else

correction: technically both the name and the product sell
On topic: I personally own both beats by dre and the high quality headphones by Bose.
If you go out and buy the Solos for beats by dre then yo are clearly going to get ripped off because the ear covers don't clearly isolate you completely. In order to get full proper noise cancellation you need to get the Studio version of beats by dre and they contain 8 mini speakers and offer super-deep bass unlike any other headphone product out in the market. Not only is the bass excellent but it delivers the bass in a clear sound through its digital amplifier which no other headphones can currently do in the headphone market.
If you have the money and want to have panty dropper headphones then get the beats by dre.![]()
Combining extra-large speaker drivers and a high-power digital amplifier, Beats by Dr. Dre headphones deliver super-deep bass, smooth undistorted highs, and crystal clear vocals.

Actually, in the context implied, a correction wasn't necessary, as the name sells, where the product doesn't live up to the hype. Making a technical correction under an implication is just retarded, but I've learned to expect that from you.

the product lives up to the hype, judging from the customer reviews of an average of 4/5 stars and the worldwide sales of the product that is currently the most sold headphone set in the states, i'm right.
So yes, the product lives up to the hype and it is why so many people continue to buy the product and the product continues to get amazing reviews from users around the world.
Beats By Dre headphones are the best in the market currently and because of their success, others have tried to follow such as: 50 cent Sleek, Ludacris, and Lady Gaga and Diddy are now a part of Monster products as well.

But tbh, they (Beats By Dre) can't tolerate high bass, it totally ruins some songs for me!
I have to download a 256kbs version of the song so that i can listen to it!
Anyways, they definitely don't deserve the price
