I still stand by it being his 4th best album after mmlp, sslp, eminem show but my few some songs have changed.

I like wtp alot more.

I hate love the way you lie just because of how much i heard it on radio im sick of the song.

Untitled, almost famous and cold wind blows are my favorite songs

When I first heard it my favorite songs were On Fire & WTP, now they're Cold Wind Blows, Almost Famous & On Fire (in that order)

I hated LTYL & Spacebound from the first time I heard them, a year later I hate them even more seeing how overrated they got.

I hated GTC & 25 To Life back then, now they're listenable.

Not Afraid is horrible & gay

I still love the album. It's not an album that will die over time, it will continue to stay relevant if only the core reason being that it tackled so many different issues that he hadn't talked about in the past. It was his most honest album and a major milestone in his career.

As for me, I love every song. Including Won't Back Down. I mean, I'm a Stan of course, so I don't count, but I absolutely love the word play and just the way he wrote the whole album.

I also appreciated the different producers, he gave a lot of producers a chance to make a name for themselves -- which was awesome. It also gave a different sound to an Eminem album that we hadn't heard before.

I could go on and on, but in short: I'll love the album for years to come.
i'm comin in, drivin my short bus
with this nose i don't need a torch up
bustin through, light the industry's porsche up
comin after who didn't support us...
imma change your brain bring
every wicked bit of strange to mainstream

It's painfull to admit, but I don't listen to Love The Way You Lie as much now, but I still love it. I'm fucking crazy about Space Bound, 25 To Life and Coing through Changes Wasn't feeling Not Afraid as much a while back, but I love it again. Didn't really care for Won't Back Down at first, but it's allright now. Loved Cinderella Man at first, but not so much now. Thought Almost Famous was a good song at first, but now I love it.

I like the rest of the songs but those that I've mentioned are the ones where my opinion have changed the most.

Recovery = my relative :smoking:

That's MY album. I feel like I'm emotionally connected to every song. It was my Summer soundtrack and every time I hear it, I'm instantly reminded of my Summer experience which was insane and quite possibly the most exciting, memorable portion of my life.

I believe that as time passes... one day, I might just consider Recovery Eminem's best album, but for now I have to give it even more time to appreciate it and rate it next to his first three albums.

Very little has changed since the first listen. I used to think GTC was a bit boring, now I think it's his best song since the 8 Mile Soundtrack. I used to love Not Afraid, then I thought it was boring, corny and gay... now I enjoy it again but I still cringe at the corny parts. If I ever slightly disliked or thought a song was boring, now I think it's enjoyable.

The irony being that Eminem's angry voice which was meant to on emotional songs didn't let him convey any emotion whatsoever, because of how hoarse/monotonous it was.

It's not like the beats kept me interested, either.

The only songs I still play: LTWYL, On Fire, GTC, YNO

You like LTWYL? :o :o :o
