I find Gaga really annoying tbh, not as a person, but the music I hate, and her fans are really annoying, so I would be quite pleased if it happened. Everybody who Em disses does seem to decline in popularity, although the full-on Gaga fans would get really worked up about it. I can't imagine what would happen tbh. I mean, 50 Cent made a joke about one of her tours, and they're always hating on him now, so if Em dissed the woman herself in a song or something, they'd really, really go all out, I reckon (maybe hack his facebook account :D).

Naaah, she is weird, talks shit sometimes and has bad clothes - but you cannot deny her talent. You gotta love songs like Poker Face or Bad Romance. The Fame is full of good tracks, so she isn't overrated.

I think she's very overrated tbh. :( I find Poker Face and Bad Romance (and others like Paprazzi, Monster and Just Dance) boring, generic, old-fashioned (think 80's), and probably the worst thing for me is that they all sound the same as each other. :(

She's a good singer and media personality, but I find the music quite dire tbh. One of my least favourite artists in the mainstream at the moment, along with Bruno Mars.

The best Lady Gaga songs imo are Chillin', Video Phone, Alejandro, Dance in the Dark, Telephone, Eh Eh and Love Game, and even those aren't that good imo.

That's just my opinion though. There's probably people out there who think Em's music sucks too. :(

Sukot wrote:Wow, that's shocking what's happened to Rihanna.

Although Gaga and Rihanna are in competition with each other, since they're both similar genres, so the Gaga fans will obviously be threatened that Rihanna was catching up with them, whilst with Em and Michael Jackson, the former is hip hop, so not a threat to them, and the latter is dead. So I doubt Em's account will be hacked, as the Gaga fans probably don't care so much about his page, if you know what I mean.

Well, there were times when Eminem's facebook site was more unavailable than actually available. It had lasted for at least three months and I remember people were also suspecting Gaga fans. lol Yet, he always managed to gain more fans than Gaga. Isn't it weird that once he passed Gaga it stopped? Like somebody just gave it up.

On #2 right now (fans today), Faceboook on #3. It won't be that simple to overtake.

Gaga dropped a single and she was in the low 50s for most fans today. Em was 2nd has has done nothing as of late. Can't wait for Spacebound!
And everything's spinning

Um, is Rihanna still losing fans? :(

I really want her to overtake Gaga, just to see the uproar it causes in the pop community. They get really worked up about that sort of stuff. :D

So what does this mean? It means, that a very big part of the existing Gaga fans already liked her (all very young, all with Internet). While only 60 % of Em's supporter did it with him (all the Gangstas in the suburbs don't know what Facebook is, they argue with an AK-47), so he's got still a big potential.

Nope, she's doing pretty well, she passed the 30 millions mark a couple of days ago. The third living human to do this.

:D True what you said tbh. I think pretty much everybody who'd considering becoming a fan of Gaga will have already done so. Not so much with the other artists, particularly urban ones.

Not exactly. Her song was posted on the front page of YouTube. Even if I gave you the benefit of the doubt and agreed that the vast majority of her fans have already liked her on Facebook (which I doubt is the case), she would still have a big bump in random people and first timers liking her on FB. Em is one of those few musicians that you will see on just about everybody's iPod. Metal head, pop listeners, rap bumpers, country lovers, etc. The same can't really be said for Gaga, she has a more limited appeal. She has cocooned herself into her own niche group, which is a big group of people but can only really expand so far.

As for the whole "gangsta" remark, I hope you're kidding. The "gangstas" know what Facebook is. Even if they didn't I doubt many of them listen to Em and if they did, not enough to go and like him on FB for the most part.

20 000+ gained over facebook since last time.... looks like this'll be too slow to happen

Yeah, not that much. But today seems to be a good day: Em with 42,021 new fans, Facebook with only 12,749. Em on #2 right now, only Shakira made more fans today.

edit

Shit, right now:

Facebook + 69,726 Today
Eminem + 61,671 Today
