I agree, except I think Lady Gaga makes music that is a blatant rip off (and a bad one at that) of European electronica, which has artists much more talented than her that get slept on because Americans only acknowledge trends.

I'm not a hiphop head either, but the majority of music fans swear that their ears bleed when they turn on the radio nowadays. So much of todays radio music has absolutely no musical value, Ke$ha being the worst offender.

There is a lot of different dubstep though. The WobWobWob brostep kind gets tiring fast but there are great atmospheric songs out there that sound nothing like the wobwobwob.
