He has been like this his whole career, at least since he blew up.

Another 2-3 albums left in him,he has the hunger and confidence now which was clearly lacking for years. He is far and away still the biggest rapper in the world and he doesnt have to be everywhere to maintain that status, all he needs is spot dates and sporadic appearances now and then

He said himself that he's in the studio every day. Just because we haven't been hearing anything doesn't mean he's not making music.

And he's never really thrown himself into the public eye.

Talking about 2.0 boys, whats the deal with that?

Is it going to be on any mixtape/album?
Was it for sale on iTunes?

and I had no idea what 'Fame' was until I just YouTube'd it

There needs to be Re-Up 2.0 with slaughterhouse and yelawolf. and d12, cashis, 50 cent, maybe dre

that would get some good music out, and some good collabs between them all

I'm just quessng here, but, I think it came out to compete with all the leaks that were going on at the time. (can't remember when that was exactly)

He has been like this his whole career, at least since he blew up.

This and recovery was all about him being "back" why would he stop right after making an album about that essentially :facepalm2
There's people that love me and people that hate me. But it's the evil that made me this backstabbing, deceitful, and shady.

Yeah but, going by the way he's been talking lately... as in, when people keep asking how much longer he'll go on and he keeps saying as long as he has the drive etc: sounds as if he has no intention of stopping anytime soon.

Everything points to him seeing this as a second-phase and, he has no big personal issues holding him back or hampering him down or interfering now. So he can just focus on the music.

Also in the Complex interview... they brought it up to him that he once said he can't be a 40 year old rapper or something. And he said something like 'no, 60 is the cut-off', or something like that. But certainly sounds like he has every intention of going past 40.

And, I just didn't think that would work in my mind, I thought it would just seem weird but then like "Space Bound" makes it feel totally normal. It just feels like adult and almost like it's not rap even though he's... rapping. Just feels smarter and older. He just looks like a normal guy now and he could take rap to whole new places that he didn't or couldn't in his youth and make it a more grown-up genre.

I mean, the genre is 'grown-up' in the sense that, the content is adult. But, it's seen in the public eye as a kids' genre, something that kids and teens listen to. And it was really Em that gave it a broader appeal. My dad's friend for example, I think is... late 50s. And he first heard "Lose Yourself", had never heard Em before and just said he was blown away.

And this guy is a tough guy to please. Calls everything trash and is like a dedicated rock fan and, all sorts but, so glad that he recognizes Em's talent. But yeah, in my mind i just couldn't imagine and still kind of find it weird the idea of Em being like 50 lmao.

For some reason I think he will look silly but why would he. He's just a normal male human being lmao. But because I have this iconic image of him from my youth cemented, it feels like if he wrinkles or becomes a normal middle-aged person he will just look bizarre. But of course he won't that's just the oddness of icons and, them capturing your imagination in your youth etc.
