Aight. I'm not completely a Kanye hater. I think his made some dope ass beats in his time. As a rapper, he used to be cool till he sold out. Almost every rapper sells out when their albums are very successful but that's not the problem I have with Kanye. I think he sold out too early, he still had some awesome hip hop albums in him, but fame took advantage of his music and he changed extremely quick.

The College Dropout is very creative, it's a beautifully crafted concept and captured very well. The hooks and beats are awesome, my favourite songs are: All Falls Down, Jesus Walks, Breathe In Breathe Out, and Through the Wire, as far as I can remember. The singles he chose for that album are just perfect for a rap album. Probably the best thought-out debut in hip hop.

His second album wasn't as good as the first and you can tell he was going a more famous route, and it was definitely going to change the outcome of his music for my liking, but he still had some dope songs on there. My fav songs off that album: Heard 'Em Say, Touch the Sky, Gold Digger, and Diamonds. I think it's pretty obvious which kind of Kanye songs I like, probably the ones he worked hard on most.

From then on his ego got the best of him. He no longer cared for the craft of hip hop, he cared more for what the masses would buy. From then on he abandoned what kind of hip hop he loved, and adapted a more famous style because every label pushes you out of your comfort zone as soon as you become successful, everything changes. I kind of hate change once I'm settled for something.

I don't like him as a person, but I do enjoy his beats and his old rapping.
