I never understood the hate this song got when it came out. I just listened to it now for the first time in a while, and it's a solid track imo 7/10. The way Em flows on that weird beat is pretty crazy. The peas tripod line is very forced but other than that i like the rest of the wordplay. Nicki has had better verses before but they actually have some chemistry on this track.

I'm not surprised it's hated though. There's so many reasons to hate it, and even a lot of non-Eminem fans really hate it.

It's a collab with Nicki Minaj.
The beat is really weird for Eminem (I think it's produced by Swizz Beatz too).
Some people think Em's lyrics are homophobic.
Some people think he's trying to be funny, and failing.
People who practice S&M hate on the song due to Em saying he doesn't like it.

From a personal level, I think it's good, but I can see why people don't like it.

I agree, this track gets a lot of hate. I personally like it, I even kind of like the weirdness of the beat, because it sounds different. People wanted Shady after Recovery dropped, they got it, and their biggest concern was the fact that he collaborated with Nicki Minaj...who wasn't that bad on the track either.
