Chrysler reported a record-breaking profit thanks to Em's powerful ad spot.
I thought the nature of it was interesting due to... well, I was one of the people saying Em sold-out by doing the ad, but more-so confused as to why he did as he's clearly not motivated by money. I'm glad that I now fully understand his motive and see why he did it.
It was a noble move inspired by loyalty and love of his city. Not dissimilar to the tone of his Love Letter to Detroit which aired on CBS in 2009.
He's literally helped part of Detroit get back on its financial feet...
