Co-Sign this, but I'm concered that a large majority of the votes for Slaughterhouse are just from Stans who have never heard a RA song in their life, and just voted for Slaughterhouse because of the Eminem connection.

Even though people say I hate on RA, at least I gave their two albums a chance.

Nah, I truly have tried listening to them, I listened to like 4 songs and was so uninterested. SH at least keeps my attention.

Since Class appears to think that he won and no one is gonna step up to the plate... as usual. I guess, I'll have to respond... as usual.

classthe_king wrote:1. They both are punchline groups but also have songs with meanings. Holding On, Test of Faith, Lost, ect. is just as good, if not better than Raindrops, Pray, Move On, ect.

Move On is way better than every RA song, let alone emotional song. They may do emotional songs but that doesn't mean they do it good.

2. Rhyme Asylum actually sounds like a group. They grew up rapping together and formed their styles with each other. Slaughterhouse is just four completely different emcees rapping a different verse. They have no unity or common sound. Rhyme Asylum has perfect cohesion
.
Every in RA sounds the same and you can't really tell who is who unless you've been listening to them for a good, good while. SH are individuals but not to the point were they all sound out of place. And of course, they're gonna spit different verses (fucking duh). In the songs with meaning (80% of debut album) they stuck to the same topic. In the punchlines songs, of course they're gonna spit about different shit.

3. Rhyme Asylum are much better lyricists. You can try to debate this but you would lose. Their creativity and wordplay is out of this world, plus their rhyming is fantastic. I've listened to Slaughterhouse and seen there best "punches" shown and sorry but it doesn't even come close.

Slaughterhouse has better rhyming. RA aren't as good at rhyming as they are at punchlines, sorry. They're more creative with their punchlines but honestly that's about it.

4. The only thing Slaughterhouse fans can go for is flow and deliveries, even though Rhyme Asylum's deliveries fits perfect with their style I can see why it wouldn't fit everyones style.

Rhyming, content, CHARISMA and mic presence also ;)

Plus, Possessed and Psiklone already outshined Crooked I.

Never heard that song so I can't say anything but that doesn't prove anything.

Erm...no. Have you even listened to Rhyme Asylum's emo songs?
Move On isn't even there best emotional song. Rain Drops is. And Rhyme Asylum's emotional songs are much better anyway.

"I'm the shit man and you ain't even passin gas"

Yeah  That should be in an emotional song

Rhyme Asylum can keep up their multis and lyricism MUCH better that Slaughterhose on emotional songs, which is one reason as to why they are better rhymers.

"Some people choose the path of righteous liven
While others refuse to be brainwashed by religion
So repent your sins before christ has risen
Until the end begins I choose to fight the system"

No they don't lmao. You just aren't used to British Accents. And who cares if you can't tell who's who? That's because they are all so good and have such a common sound. Yes, they all are out of place. That is their debut albums biggest criticism, they don't sound like a group at all and they don't have a common theme, it's just a bunch of random songs. And 80% my ass  Pray, Salute and Rain Drops are not 80% of the album.

Slaughterhouse has better rhyming. RA aren't as good at rhyming as they are at punchlines, sorry. They're more creative with their punchlines but honestly that's about it.

I beg to differ, not only do Rhyme Asylum have MORE rhymes, but they also have better rhymes. They win in quality and quantity. Plus they are better rhymers for one reason: they don't have set up lines. Every line is a dope punchline, and that's not an exaggeration.

Rhyming, content, CHARISMA and mic presence also ;)

I already disproved rhyming and content. Charisma and mic presence is the same thing lol

Never heard that song so I can't say anything but that doesn't prove anything.

It proves Psiklone and Possessed > Crooked I
