One Mic wrote:@ Kez - My anti-Rhyme Asylum posts are more geared to people outside of the UK who ONLY listen to RA from the UK and have given no one else a chance, because it is the 'popular' thing on this forum (in terms of UK acts anyway).

One Mic wrote:(1) UK accent in rap sucks, not listening to that shit
(2) Rhyme Asylum are dope as fuck, Rhyme Asylum, Rhyme Asylum, Rhyme Asylum, oh yeah Lowkey

Okay these quotes I get you, that is definately true of some people on here. If that's the kind of people your posts are aimed at, then fair enough. I can't really argue with that.

For the record I've always liked THIS Rhyme Asylum track. (genuine)

Don't know if you RA fans consider that one of the best, worst or average RA tracks, but yeah. I like that one

@ThomasJ Yeah that Crying Game song is quite good. & I don't really consider 'The Streets' as rap/hiphop, but I'm a fan. The first two albums were amazing.

Rapping is an art. Therefore, every rapper is an artist. Some just master the art of rapping better than others. Rhyme Asylum are more technical rappers however, Slaughter House rap clearly to get the message across, so I guess the better artists are Rhyme Asylum, but then again it's all down to a matter of preference.

Both groups are brilliant and amazing, but just have different styles. I'm not prejudice against American rap, I think most American rappers have way better flow than most British rappers..Eminem's the best rapper ever, for the record. Just that British rappers have mastered lyricism and catchlines, and American rappers have mastered flow, delivery and storytelling, perhaps..I see British and American rap as on par with each other. Rappers in the UK still have amazing flow, but not a lot of them have versatility in their flow, even though they're amazing, most UK rappers have the same flow throughout. And that's where the difference lies.

In my opinion, Rhyme Asylum are more interesting to listen to, but then again, do you prefer flow over metaphors and punchlines? Rhyme Asylum have more emotional songs and emotion+lyrics go together.
