How do you guess if someone is right? I mean think about it, why would you be willing to take a guess that somebody is correct at a huge risk that they could be incorrect & your life would be forever ruined because you "guessed" doesn't that statement really just mean "I am a mindless drone unable to pick what I think is right so I am going to blindly follow you" ?

Guess means to make an estimate. It's a synonym for suppose, when you use it in the context of "I guess you're right" it is not saying "I'm going disregard my own logic but instead take the options presented in front of me and choose randomly", it is saying that you have taken all into consideration, evaluated all possible outcomes, and come to a conclusion as to what path you're going to take. In this circumstance, I'm choosing to show approval of what you said, because I've considered semantics and you just happened to be "right" when you said that I'm the one in question right now.
