Well, that's an easy conclusion to come to, but look at it this way: If you want to find an artists discography, you have to actually know what artist you're looking for. Their might be lists of artists, but they're not always notable Hip-Hop acts. Having all the artists that members consider NOTABLE in one thread with album titles is useful, because it makes reaching a new artist accessible.

It won't die around any letter because it's not that hard to Google an artist and copy/paste a discography and/or links.

What IS hard is Googling the discography of an artist you've yet to hear of, or considered listening to.

Don't be a negative Nancy, and just see the big picture.

I just thought it seemed like an insane amount of work, but if you wanna do it, props :y:

One suggestion though. Make it so that every artist on here has to be cosigned/suggested by a TR member as having some good stuff, instead of just going by that list One Mic posted. Honestly, who the hell is gonna listen to 5th Warb Weebie? WTF?

BTW, any FL DL update

Or we should just disregard One Mic's list altogether. The OP said notable hip-hop artists, not every hip-hop artist :confusion:

Yeah. I think this list should be a list of rappers who have fans on TR. Basically, every artist listed should be personally suggested/cosigned by a TR member. Like, I like Luda but I'm not a fan per say, so I wouldn't personally recomend him for this list.
A few of my additions, IDK if they're mentioned:

Kanye West
Tyler, The Creator
Chamillionaire
Bun B
Outkast
Yonas
Drake
2pac
Biggie
Common
Lupe Fiasco
Rakim
Hopsin
J Cole
Kid Cudi

Also, I suggest keeping the list on an Excel doc, that way alphabatizing isn't a pain, you can just automatically sort it then c&p.

That's what I'm doing ^ I'll list artists people here would like/do like and consider "good".

Anyway, I'll check back here to update the OP soon.

Just for the record, I made sure that every artist I listed without a question mark met my standards of "good".

I think this is a great idea. Usually when I check an artist out I try to find and download their whole discography and I usually use wikipedia as a source for everything they've released, so this list here is perfect for me

It would be nice if you could somehow make this more of a group thread or something, but I don't think that's possible. What I mean is that the OP could choose several trustworthy people to help with posting the discographies so that it wouldn't be on one person to have to do everything. I don't think you can do that though, but on a thread like this, it sure would be good.
