Been posting for 3.5 years, I'll post till I die I'm assuming, just because it's something to do, I like seeing new em news/songs/discussions, and some members have become really good friends :y:

Yeah, why not? It's not an age thing. As long as Eminem is a topic I'll be here. Let's say his section will be closed and TRShady renamed - then I'm leaving probably. I'm not really sure. If you post many years in a community things can change. Maybe you become affectionated to many members, so you still wanna interact with them.

True, but people in their 40s might/should have a family, wife, a few kids, etc. and a 9-5 job, so they won't have as much time dedicated to post on here. Was just my point. Don't get me wrong, I'd still love to come here when I'm that age probably lol, and I'm always gonna be a huge Em fan, but it's a valid point don't you think?

I think this is true. I'm older than most people on here (from what I can guess), and I really don't have that much time to be active on a forum. I've had an account here for a few months (I lurked for a while before that), and I still haven't broken the 20 post count where my comments are instant - I have no hope of ever breaking the 100 post count to get to the download section, which was the reason I made the account in the first place. Plus, there are times when I get on the forum and read comments and don't post anything because if I don't have anything to add then I stay quiet. I'll probably lurk here a lot longer than I post.

^ I'm in my 20s and usually post only when I'm not working or am occupied with family/friends/relationship related things. A lot of people in their late 20s, 30s, and even 40s post on forum boards or similar social networking sites. I think a 40 year old constantly tweeting and updating a facebook page with smileys and "I just went to the bathroom LOLOLOL" comments is ridiculous, and obviously a life changing session with a psychiatrist is necessary.

In my opinion, a huge part of growing up is learning to divide what you enjoy doing and what needs to be done, and being able to balance things accordingly.

Forums are good to be a part of because you have a diverse group of people to discuss things within your range of interests. If a friend of mine in the "real world" doesn't listen to a particular artist, I could always post about said artist here and enjoy a conversation with a stranger; obviously, reasons like this don't change or fade away with time.

When you're 40? No, most people, bad economy or not, will have some sort of job. Not many 40 year olds are couch potatoes. Just sayin.

well, never thought about this, but I won't stop posting here, even though I might lower my staying in here, cause life isn't just yeah internet & forum chat, so it depends on the person itself, like me, I didn't really stop posting here, but I wasn't much time online in comparison to the beginning I joined myself here... :y:

I probably will not reach my 300 posts, almost finished this why I came here, and 2 or 3 questions important to me to ask, a small thing to do in Backstage and I fly away ...
