It sounded like it would have been an extremely dark album. I would have wanted to have it for that darkness, it sounds like it would have been one huge mind fuck of an album, but Relapse is definitely better than what we've heard, lyrically and musically.

Came back to annihilate, the game's in dire straights, as I await
Word on Satan, as I drop, fall to my knees before this Quija board and I pray
Now I lay me down to sleep
I do this shit in my sleep, I’m sleepin' now, imagine if I awake

Kinda makes me appreciate Relapse more, and how much he improved his writing from that trash in 07 to where he was a year later, writing Relapse in 08.

Careful What You Wish For, Beautiful and My Darling weren't gonna be on there though.

Add to that Difficult...? Dunno, i prefer King Mathers. Its writing complexity is of a much lower level but it does seem "Real." Thats my attraction to Eminem and for alot of other people- the fascination of his complex character. The technicalities do well to retain interest but the theatrics of his life are what captures MY imagination. For example, My Darling and Beautiful are my 2 favourite tracks on Relapse.
