The only thing I would really call out of the ordinary is Kanye and maybe Chuck D tbh. Blu is also way too high for a discography of his standards.

Oh yeah, and Masai is kind of meh outside of lyricism.

It's honestly not a bad list, only thing people could really complain about is Em's placement.

If it makes you feel awesome he said Dessa was top 3 talent-wise but her discography didn't constitute for higher placement.

I was as surprised as you.

Other than P.O.S, it's coincidence. I saw you bring him up multiple times but when I looked back on that list and saw his name I decided to check P.O.S out and was semi-blown away really.

I don't know if I could do that. I don't really listen to discographies and my entire list would be based on lyrics...can you link me to Masai though :coffee:

Do a top 30 based on lyricism then

I thought we're all supposed to chip in this, though me and Class have extremely conflicting tastes and evaluate music differently. Still an amusing idea, you already made a thread like though though with "Eminem only has 1 good album", only people didn't take you seriously.

The most slept-on-but-not-really thread of 2011.

If you guys want to do a GOAT discussion thread where the whole thing is just a big clusterfuck of debate over placement I'll make it, other than that I don't know how we'd all be able to decide a list equitably.

We could all give the artists a serious listen and then rank them out of 10 and take the averages

You don't have to know calculus....just pre-algebra

I'll do that though.

Here's how we'll do it. We'll all submit our top 20 (there's bound to be similarities) then each one of us will rank all the emcees out of 10. I'll take the average for each emcee and then pick the top 30 and put them in order.

Then we can have you write the paragraphs since you're good with words

Do you plan on rapping professionally? You're by far the best TR rapper I've heard on here.

What are your top 3 Sadistik songs?

If you had access to the same equipment and beats, do you think you could make a better album than (current) Jay-Z?

Nerd shit.

Do we still provide explanations for each artist and such?

If so, how does that work out?

And finally, just us three or would there be more "judges"?
