So what y'all think of this? The beat sounds like Lollipop tbh.

I actually really like this. Not a big fan of the beat but I don't mind it, the hook is fucking great though. :smoking:

50 running shit again.

Not bad. Don't like the beat.

It's OK, just album filler though, nothing special. Beat sounds like the intro to Weezy's Lollipop.

And whatever admin moved it here and locked the other one is a cocksucker, no one looks here (I only saw it from the locked topic). The G-Unit section should be deleted, no one posts about them anyway, maybe it was a good section to have in 2005 :facepalm

His delivery and structure are much tighter than usual. Not as lazy this time round.

But, a pretty underwhelming and forgettable song - due to the content (nothing new, repetitive) and low key chorus, which doesn't elevate it enough.

This is what I posted in the Mod section an hour or so ago:

dR3 wrote:The whole Aftermath sub-forum is pointless. Plus the sub-sections of the HHD.

I strongly suggest we discuss anything related to hip-hop outside of Eminem in the HHD only, that way the activity there will increase a lot.

That would mean moving the posts from Kickin' It Oldschool, Underground, G-Unit, Dirty Dozen and Aftermath to the HHD and then delete the empty sub-sections and sub-forum.

So it would look like this:

Eminem - discussing only Eminem obviously
Hip-Hop Domain - discussing everything about hip-hop outside of Eminem (yes, even the artists of Shady Records)

I feel like that would be the perfect thing to do.

We'll see what the others think of it. Props to Xray for being the first one to suggest deleting some of the sub-forums/sub-sections.

Yeah, This is a perfect example of why I dislike a lot of the admin here. They get all legalistic just to flex their little bit of internet power. Pathetic. It's like a cop giving you a ticket for going 27 in a 25: Yeah, he can legally do it and technically should, but it's retarded and nothing but a demonstration of power afforded to him by a title.

Is 50 still trying the gangster shit? I really think he would be much better if he actually rapped about something different than the same shit that was old after about the 3rd listen to GRODT.

Ok, I would like this if the beat wasnt so shitty.

Liking it a lot, that grimy aggressive NY sound. At this point don't really care much for what others want from 50, he came in with the intention of that bringing that hard NY street music, so if he sticks to that forever, the people who originally made him who he was will always be happy.

Fwiw. Flex made it known this is not the single, this is just the first release from the album to coincide with Tupac's birthday. Shouts out to Flex for going to bat for Fif as well and telling the outsiders exactly who's who.

Fwiw. Its the most requested song on hot97 since Hov's "Empire State of Mind" and before that Fif's "I get money", so the people of NY have spoken. Welcome back FIf.

Just pointed out on the Royce tracklist that 50 has been getting better throughout this year, and this proves my point to an extent, his hooks are coming back too :shifty:
