NEED TO MAKE IT A SINGLE BEFORE IS TO LATE
I wanted an album so rugged nobody could touch it.
Spent a million a track and went over my budget.
Now how in the fuck am I supposed to get out of debt?
I can't rap anymore, I just murdered the alphabet.

In before they release the video in a few months, when the song is completely dead and buried.

Ideally a video would drop in 2 weeks max, otherwise the song is gonna lose it's impact.

#20 in the UK now

AJ, you think this will chart in the top 40 on Sunday's chart? Or just outside?

I think it's gunna sneak in the top 40 at around #38. Once Radio 1 have it on their A-List it will boom.

Yeah, Katy Perry has done so well with her current album. The only other artist to get 5 #1s from one album is Michael Jackson, I believe.

#2-#5 are quite close together on iTunes, so Lighters could get to #2, but Last Friday Night is getting quite far ahead now, so it'd be a challenge to get to #1.

I don't think Katy's album has passed 1,5 million sold copies in US so the album isn't doing that great. I think you do great if your album gets multi-platinum and you can still sell millions of singles. The three singles from Recovery sold over 17 millions copies together.

It's a shame Lighters is declining, since the song has a potential but it's like a little orphan out there. Completely abandoned. Em's fans could greatly support it if they bothered to request it on the radio and BME could push the song if they made it an official single, released the video as soon an possible (not in a month or two) and went to a popular show to perform it. This is how you need to push your single. Look at Not Afraid and how it helped the song on iTunes every time he performed it somewhere or they played it at some sport event. This way, the song sold millions.

UK Official Singles Chart:

#37 Lighters

"Lighters" is the 2nd chart hit credited to 'Bad Meets Evil', the alias of Eminem and Royce Da 5'9 after "Scary Movies" (#63 in 2001).
