It's only really the hook that could be considered "cheesy". Eminem's verse is fine, so is Royce's.

If Eminem survived Ass Like That, Big Weenie, Just Lose It, FACK and We Made You then I'm sure this will be cool.

Those songs are corny to me. Straight corny, inexcusable. Stuff like LTWYL and Lighters are just commercial songs, and mehhh.

I'd rather have songs like 'Lighters' than those tracks mentioned above (even though I don't really like it)

I'm usually a fan of the Smeezingtons but the production just doesn't impress me at all. The drum programming and syntheziser sound like something Hopsin made in his mom's basement. It is a shame that Eminem doesn't seem to realize that you can make a big radio hit without lowering yourself to cheesy hooks and production. I'm not against Bruno Mars at all, nor was I against Pink and Rihanna on Recovery, cus if their voices are used to correct, only a fool would claim that they are bad singers.

The verses aren't my cup tea at all though I can hear they at least tried to make them good.

By the way I'm not saying he wont survive this track cus obviosuly it will do well on the charts (unlike Fack, Ass like that etc.).

And I agree with Wic Kid. :y:

Eminem's verse is fucking bad and so "poor me" that I don't even like listening to it. His flow is so choppy and awkward, the rest of his flows are great on the EP, but Take From Me and Lighters are as awkward as class continuing to post about Eminem after he's already established he doesn't like him anymore. :confusion:

The Reunion, Welcome 2 Hell, A Kiss, Above The Law >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Take From Me

Fuck that pussy ass shit.

No need to keep TRYING to prove the same point over and over again, to people who's opinions you won't take into consideration anyway. :shakehead:

Too predictable, you could do better. Cmon, you really think we dont see what this is all about? That people didnt figure you out? You makin these kinda threads, quotin every-fuckin-body here who's not agreein with you? You hate new Eminem, wow, breaking news. Again. We got that long time ago, trust me. You dont need to make a new thread about his EP to remind us of what we already knew. That shit's as repetitive and annoying as Ems usage of "in other words".

When a man hates sumthin for sufficient reasons, he just fuckin hates it and leaves it at that, for christ sake. And he doesnt act like a naggin bitch about it. You said you'll quit postin in the Eminem section, but noooo, you just couldnt leave it, could you? See how pathetic you are?

Cool, you listen to underground rap, and new Eminem doesnt fit in your "new taste". Underground rap. I love underground rap. But I hate strictly-underground fans, such as YOU, class. How long will it take for you people to realize that you're praisin a genre just for the sake of being different and follow some "code of loyalty" like you're some fuckin samurai, and not a listener? Like you could "disappoint" music? Please, get over yourselves. You could only disappoint yourself, when you put the need to belong to a certain group over your own fuckin ears.

Now...act smart and step away from these kinda debates, about Eminem. Cuz you startin to talk shit. Em has no ENERGY now and his fast-paced rappin sucks? What a load of crap. You cant win here, nor you cant change anyone's opinion here.

Im outta this cliche thread.

See this is the problem. It's Eminem so you're okay with this shit. If I heard any of the those lines on a Copywrite song or a Vakill song I would be like what the fuck is this bullshit? But Eminem said it...so it's okay with you guys but for me it's not okay. They are terrible, end of story.

No, I knew you'd highlight that point and say something like that.

You're right. If Copywrite had said something like that, most people would say "what the fuck is this bullshit?" and there is plenty of reason.

Underground rap is...punchline rap. In a quick summation. Now, they aren't bad enough to call "whack" but as EVERYONE has admitted, Eminem is not a punchline rapper but he is evaluated as if he was one.

I'm gonna give Sidney Crosby a soccer ball and put him on Manchester United and judge him as critically as I would had Ronaldo still been on the team.

Doesn't make sense. Good enough =/= bad. If you are aware that an individual isn't strong in a particular field, why scrutinize their work soooo critically? OF COURSE if you compare it to those who have majored in it, it's gonna appear as shit.

Give a student who majored in Economics is interested in going into medicine, give him an MCAT test (most kids hoping to go to medical school take this test - a very fuckin difficult one) and see how they do.

The result? He may do decent if he studied enough but inevitably didn't do as well as students who really have been aiming for medical school since the dawn of their undergrad.

Are you kidding me? You can't hold Eminem to a different standard just because h'es not a "punchline rapper". He shouldn't be doing punchlines then. That's the worst excuse I've ever heard.

TRSL wrote:I've two questions for you Class.

How would you compare HTS with Recovery ? Wich one did you like the most ?

And who you think did better on the EP, Royce or Em ? And why ?

Thanks :)

HTS > Recovery

Royce > Eminem because he had more passion and was rapping like he had something to prove

lolwut. You're a fucking moron. I made this thread praising and Eminem song that was actually good and then was having a nice conversation before you fucktards came here spewing bullshit. This is why I put "ignorant stans stay out"

People asked me to listen to it and then make a review. I'm sorry I can't come into the Eminem section and discuss his music because you guys are too far up his ass to even have a conversation

well trigger the overzealous moron can stop calling me class2.0 now. i disagree with him here. Take From Me's concept only emphasizes eminem's sellout status for me. turning me off to it immediately.

and who is the dumbass who said that underground rap is all punchlines??? ..... lol. you have it backwards sir. popular rap is all punchlines.

Even disagreeing with class, you still sound like a fucking idiot.

You're not even class 2.0, because 2.0 implies improvement and a step forward. You are definitely a few steps behind class, class -8.5 sounds more accurate. Definitely class if his parents were related.

I'm the one who originally called you Class 2.0, so relax. Explain how Take From Me emphasizes Eminem as a sellout when it's exactly the opposite seeing as how in an interview referring to the song he says EXACTLY, word for word "I don't give a fuck about the money" and went on to say but it hurts to see something unfinished that may have never been released leaked while people talk about how bad the song is.

Yeah, what a fucking sell-out. Fucking moron...

why are you so gullible? if eminem is concerned about the quality of the music then why is he releasing so much bullshit? surely he knows he's godawful.... he can't be listening to his old stuff and be saying to himself: "damn i still got it."

i get the idea that eminem's label has a problem with all the leaks because it loses them money. and they pushed him to do a song. i could be wrong but that's the impression i get.

i'm sure eminem could care less about money when he's already king when he sleeps and when he wakes up....

doesn't mean his label doesn't care about the money.
