He had to approach the beats on Recovery differently because he wasn't fitting nicely into the mix like he did with Dre beats. Dre is a genius and the chemistry between him and Em is rare.

That being said, I really like the production of Hell:The Sequel and I think it's easier on the ears than Recovery.

The main point was that it was hard to listen to because the production is bad. And it is actually hard to listen to. But mainly because a big part of rap to me is good beats. Something smooth and crisp that compliments good lyrics.

No Recovery is not produced perfectly, it's his second worst produced album after Infinite. However the production is not bad to the point it makes your ears hurt, that's just fucking stupid.

That's just your opinion, I don't agree. Everything is allright, I like in a special way the clean cuts and passages to the hooks. You know what would have made Recovery not so well produced? Having tons of songs like Lighters on it. Just compare it to LTWYL, really no competition.
