Relapse vs. Encore

Which one does Eminem like more, in your opinion.

To be fair, I listen to Relapse a lot..and I haven't listened to Encore fully in..maybe a year?

I'd pick Relapse just because of his hypnotic flows, beautiful rhyming, accent and humour - Encore was too...potty humour for me. However, the first five or six songs are fantastic and so are the last few, but the middle of the album is pure trash in my eyes.

No he's not, and neither am I, and neither is anyone else here. So you're really just going to get a bunch of people projecting their own opinions onto Em.

If I had to guess, though, I'd go with Relapse because he wasn't higher than Mt Everest while making it. I don't think he's ever even mentioned Encore since he got sober, other than the one line in Talking to Myself, which to me says that he'd rather just forget he ever put it out.

I feel like 'The Reunion' is almost poking fun at the people who didn't like Relapse in an almost satirical way, as if they don't understand the complexity of the rapping on that album.

But I'm not one of those who think Encore was absolutely horrible. In fact I like it better than H:TS. Not trolling, not joking, I really do. But I'm reasonably sure Em doesn't

lyrically, relapse was much more creative and intresting

but it's not as meaningful as a lot of Encore (toy soldiers, mosh, crazy in love, puke, yellow brick road) if it wasnt for that center part of Encore

but, Encore has a much better layout album wise then Relapse. Relapse is just about every song, three verses with a hook, with all but one verse written by Eminem (50's verse). Encore had the features here and there, which edge it out for me, song layouts weren't all the same.

Maybe he's like me...it just depends on your mood at the time

Relapse is actually a good album, Encore is a fart joke.

I think even Em likes Relapse, don't think he ever hated it, just thought that he played the accents out. Which he did, but they didn't bother me so much. On The Reunion, he's abusing this chick for saying Relapse sucks lmao.
