OK, I really like both of them, they're both very different. Hop is a much better straight up rapper, but Tyler is much more creative/innovative. I realise both have their haters, so I'm not debating who's better. I see why Hop did it, at the end of the day he's trying to get views and checks. This track blew him up to the general hip hop public. However, it is weird to me he dissed him. First off, Hop basically said on FB "Tyler's not my thing, but he's dopoe" so dissing his music is a lil unconvincing.

Also, look at their similarities:

Both are skater-rappers
Both use white/black contacts (neither jacked each other)
Hop HATES Ruthless/Tomica, Tyler HATES 2dopeboyz and Steve Harvey lol
Both said fuck the industry and have their own labels/imprints
Both are very loyal to their crews (FV/OFWGKTA)
Both have weird style
Both have weird ass pets (Hop's pug dog, Tyler's plastic duck)
Both are very into videography, and partially blew up through it
Both didn't fit in in high school (Tyler was a weird kid, Hop was...retarded...)
Both were put on by big cosigns (Kanye/Tech N9ne)
Both are from Cali

IDK, I just think it woulda been cool if they collabed. Video would be SICK. Doubt they will now, but I see why Hopsin did it, good business/career move (at least for now).

I like both artists too, but I really don't think Hopsin dissed TtC solely to seek attention. Yes, that was his aim too, but what he had to say against Tyler was true and relevant. The whole stuff about his whole act being a gimmick, him cussing and recording absurd, shocking videos in order to become popular are all reasons that people hate on him for.

And I also wouldn't say Tyler is much more creative than Hop. Songs like Chris Dolmeth, Sexy Cyber, I Can't Decide all take a high level of creativity and are more innovative than a lot of Tyler's work.

I meant to add that, Hopsin does literally the exact same thing as Tyler with controversy, just not as well. He's just as much as a gimmick (neithe rof them are JUST gimmicks though, they're both great artists). Examples:

As for creative, I wasn't talking so much the lyrics/storytelling. Hopsin and his beats are dope, but at the end it isn't really anything we haven't heard musically. Tyler on the other thing has his own brand of music that, hate it or love it, has never been done before.

I like both artists. Hopsin is undoubtedly a much better rapper. But hmm, Tyler is prolly more of an interesting character I dunno. Oh yea, Goblin was such a big disappointment. Don't act like Hopsin isn't gimmicky, because he basically admits to it in Ill Mind 3 and also... its obvious. That aside, I couldn't care less because hes a dope rapper. I just think he contradicts himself a lot and I wouldn't be surprised at all if he took the next big record deal he could get even after dissing big record labels and shit.

Tyler's personality is my favorite part about him. I still think Yonkers is lightyears ahead of everything else he has done. Keep Tyler around just for his personality and I'm fine with that.

Also, I understand why Hopsin dissed him and I even think it was smart, but I think that in a different situation, if Hopsin and Tyler had grown up around each other, Hop would have possibly been in OFWGKTA. They are very similar on paper.
