I heard that, which is good cuz it was too Ross-ish. I really liked it though.

What songs have leaked so far? I remember one crazy dope one but IDK the name...

RED is like Detox. There was so much material recorded for it that at this point no one knows what will end up on the final CD.

Only one month for now we'll be playing this.

Been meaning to check out that Grieves album everyone's praising too.

I sense 2012 being a better year for rap though.

& @K Reidy RAW dropped in 2010.

I know, that's why I mentioned it. Hence topic name 2010/2011

Forgot about childish gambinos album :y:

-I didn't love W.A.R. it was far below Desire IMO, it just didn't have that soulfull feel to it.
-I don't care about Joell or any Slaughterhouse shit. I'll listen to their individual dope tracks, but as a whole I wouldn't care if none of them touched a mic again. Not my thing, the whole lyrical onslaught schtick is played out to me.

i agree about it being less than Desire but it's still better than almost everything that was posted in the thread, it had the soulful feeling but not in all tracks, Evolve, Let My People Go, Black Hand Side and Haile Selassie Karate were incredible

yeah it isn't everyone's thing, but i advice you to check Free Agent out .. it's my album of the year so far

Is Free Agent that dope? I was considering buying it yesterday but I'm still on the fence about it

Malcolm West, you should check out this amazing underground rap group named Rhyme Asylum. They seem really adequate for your taste and I'm almost positive you'd LOVE them.

Also, since you seem to have a certain distinct way with words, I wanna know your thoughts on the GOAT album The Balancing Act by Sadistik.

I've listened to a few Rhyme Asyum tracks. Not my thing, but I can see why people like them, their punches are dope.

I've only really heard of Sadistik from his upcoming album, the Kristoff guy is crazy good:
