these days more young ppl have been gettin plastic surgery dun. sum kids parents by them boob jobs or nose jobs for presents..... and its just sick and sad..... :zipped:

but with botox and everything, its a growing trend. ppl r goin under the knife to look like celebs, and it seems like more and more ppl r falling victim to the evils of superficiality... and i just think its gettin out of hand. god (sorry to say that for those of u who dont beleive.... but, im tryin to make a point) made us the way we were for a reason..... and its just discusting to see so many "perfect" people out there these days.... and there not even human. there plastic..... and i think a lot of it has to do with hollywood, and the media putting pressure on young girls to be a certain weight, and a certain cup size, and hair color, and eye color... and so on and so forht...... and if it keeps up, were gonna be livin in a world of cloned size 0 belemic blondes with blue contacts and fake tits...... and it scares me......

but um..... newayz... wat do u guys think? wat r ur thoughts on plastic surgery and todays society of "it girls" and health freaks and materialistic people

im not doin a poll..... this isnt really if u think sumthin is wrong or not... i just want ur thoughts on it all

Its a big buissness, trends will be created to ensure that plastic surgents dont "strave"

But its their choice and their money to waste, naturall beauty is always noticable. People who do this operations have little self confidence.

I see no wrong with a person that is just not blessed with beauty to go do this kind of operation.

but this aint just about plastic surgery... its about all the fake bullshit and bad idols that kids look up too... like lindsy lohan or brittany spears or all the other fake ass sluts in hollywood.... (nichol richie... paris hilton)

As i said, its their choice, since we cant demand them to stop doing these operations, theres nothing we can do. I personally am against it.

I say people should watch less TV, and pick a book up for once.

but, i mean.. the whole thing that got me thinkin about all this was i was watchin sumthin on vh1 about plastic surgery... and it got me thinkin of all the other messed up things..... like, shows like my super sweet 16, or the fabulous life of, or laguna beach (watched it once, for about 5 minits... then turned it off) and shows like i want a famous face....... i mean, its all proof that society has kinda turned brainwashed and just so materialistic and superficial... and its sad....

and i agree sarah, skinny girls aint sexy. take lohan for example. before she became an anorexic coke whore, she was a normal size, and very pretty and blessed with a but and a nice rack...... now, 500 lines of coke later and about a year or so not eating.... no butt. no tits. and now a lot of guys think she look nasty... altho, i admit... she has put on enough weight to gain a considerable amount of boobage back... but she still too boney..... newayz, my point is... not every man thinks twigs r sexy... sum do like girls with a little meat on there bones.... i was always told the more coushin for the pushin...... but thats just wat they told me..... :sweating:

I think that ppl that gets plastic surgery are usually just ppl with low self esteem. They are looking for a quick fix outside of themself rather than inside themself. But its up to them. Which is quite sad really, baczuse i dont think that some of them are ready to make that choice.

Alot of these girls think that with bigger boobs or fuller lips they would be better off, but in reality its not gonna give them the confidence they need. I remember going to parties and the most popular girl is usually not the prettiest. But its usually the one that is full of confidence and high self esteem that knows what they want and knows who they are.

It's a great business, so you know.. And it's getting more and more popular..

I think it's ok, as long as u have serious problems like u got burned and plastic operation is necessary or you really cannot live because of your big nose. But doing 5 operations just too look absolutely perfect is stupid. People pay for it huge amounts of money just to be popular for a while and then what?.. Your nose falls off like MJ's one..

As for me it's far more cool when someone accepts the way he or she looks. No one is perfect and sometimes because of our face we look interesting or unusual. And even more important is what we have inside in my opinion..

OK, I'm going to be blunt here, STFU ABOUT IT BEING "CELEBS" FAULTS!! It's everyone's fault. It's the way society is. It's the whole way EVERYONE thinks. It's like GTA would've been seen as offensive 50 years ago but it's seen as OK now. Or - all these explicit lyrics wouldn't have been tolerated 50 years ago but it's alright to say them now. Everything is just "normal" now. Too many laws are being loosened, the government don't have enough grip on people, or what we're doing, shit, they hardly know what THEY'RE doing - therefore everyone thinks EVERYTHING is alright, maybe don't even agree with it, but just say something like "oh, it happens all the time," as if it's normal. I could go on, but I think you'll get my point.
