Well it all depends on how leniant you are with the word classic, however I know that Atmosphere released 5 albums in a row that are better than any outkast album so I guess Slug has 5 classics in a row :coffee:

LOL. Atmosphere can't fuck with Aquemini at all, and I really like them.

Kanye arguably has had 4 classic rap albums in a row (808s excluded obviously, and it's a great album).

Kanye probably has the best/most consistent 4 album streak. Whether you love Kanye or not or think his albums are classics, you have to admit they're great albums. Like, I don't like Wu much but I can admit 36 Chambers is a great album.

But yeah, I can see Outkast too.

T.I. doesn't have those straight up CLASSIC albums, but he had a crazy good 4 album streak.

I didn't include it because there's no method of comparison, it's not a rap album. A pop/alt classic has very different criteria. The topic is "Any rapper", he wasn't rapping on it. IMO it is a classic album, because it's 1) amazing and 2) basically its own genre. So, going off rap albums, yes Kanye has 4. Maybe even 5 including 808s.

Tupac could probably be argued for, I'm not a big enough Pac stan to do it but he's probably closest to Kanye.
