I think Boi1da is one of the luckiest producers ever. He was workin with Drake before he was big, and then when Drake happened to blow up he took Boi1da with him. I've never heard a great beat by Boi1da - Seduction is good but that's it. The best I've heard is "Over" and he didnt even come up with that melody - it was his co-producer who's name escapes me right now. But yea, basically because of Drake blowing up it positioned Boi1da as a fashionable producer, kinda like Alex Da Kid except I think Alex Da Kid actually makes decent beats, and he was therefore able to land placements for beats which otherwise wouldn't have been given a second listen, with major artists. There's so many other producers who are way more talented than Boi1da but don't get all the major placements. And I believe that 95% of the reason Boi1da managed it is because of his association with Drake.

Wow, I sound like a huge Boi1da hater, lol. I'm not really, just think he got lucky.
