The album is not gonna win any Emmy's, but it's decent and worth listening to. Also the Proof tribute song is very honest and sincere, don't know why so many people seem to be hating this album.

Success Is Certain definitely has less filler tracks. I think it's easier to listen from start to finish than Street Hop.

Street Hop's upper eschelon of tracks are better though in my opinion.

Hmm, I seem to remember only really digging "Dinner Time" and "Shake This" from Street Hop, with a lot of filler tracks like you said. I think Success is Certain has much better production and better content.

Been listening to it all day at work, fuckin solid album, I'll probably buy it. Even the 'forgettable' tracks have awesome beats.

Security makes me sad, especially the hook and when Em's snippets come in.

This post makes me want to download it and listen to it right now. The only track I heard was Legendary and absolutely love it.

Kid Vishis is fucking horrible, I hate him. He ruined ER. Thankfully Royce was on point as always and the hook + beat are fucking awesome.

Kid Vishis' voice is fucking ear-gouging. It sounds like Royce before hitting puberty and before his balls dropping with a big black, veiny dick up his ass. Stop featuring him Royce. STOP.

In other news, this album has grown on me a lot. Even Where My Money grew on me a bit. I just think that it's very out of place and I don't like the content. It was probably a dissapointment at first because I was expecting Death Is Certain II (with a filler in Where My Money). It's not dissapointing to me anymore. I really like the album. Merry Go Round is one of Royce's best album songs. Amazing. I love the concept/message of "for every negative there lies a positive".

My final score is 7.5/10.

That reminds me... if Royce's next solo album with Shady (it's gonna happen, it's inevitable) is NOT on the level of Death Is Certain, I'll stick my head in a boiling pot. I'm still thinking that Royce didn't go balls out, 100% on this record as I believe he would if it were his first major label release with Shady.

Alright album, would give it a 5/10. Not horrible, but not even close to being great either, a lot of forgettable shit in between the good songs.
