I've always wondered: do performers realize it when their mics cut out?

Nah on some songs he really sounds different, he raps with more anger I guess. Just listen to I need a doctor, he goes quietly then explode. I think he's starting to learn how to control his voice again lmao

Around 1:50 his voice seems to change.

Same here, must be horrible if they realize...

He sounds the same to me too.

About the "lose yourself" video ,it was the last song, so it is normal to sound a little different.

It was the end of the show, and I seriously doubt his voice is conditioned for shows anymore. He was just losing his voice.

it's obvious he has a problem, perhaps due to sound problems he's forcing too much on his voice during the concert.
I'm out of the matrix and I improved my music taste here, I opened my eyes and discovered so different ways to see the world, thanks to you all!

Didn't he apologise for sound difficulties at some point during the show? I saw it on one of the vids in the other thread.

I really like how he did I Need A Doctor and I gotta say, his performances are the best they have been in forever it seems like.

To me seems like Royce knew the mic wouldn't workin', idk why he just seemed sorta mad? i've only watched it once.

I'd be mad too. You go out there for 2 verses (they did Lighters too) and 80% of your 1st verse is cut off due to the sound technicians' errors.

Yeah I mean that's why I think he knew his mic wasn't workin', 'cause he looked mad.
