I have no problem with pop stars, especially very talented ones like Beyonce or Rihanna. However, Bruno Mars just didn't fit AT ALL. Beyonce fits perfectly with Ye and Jay's sound. Kanye's been doing crazy good songs with chicks since way back: All Falls Down with Syleena Johnson on CD, Bring Me Down with Brandy on LR, and All Of The Lights with Alicia on MBDTF. All of those songs are amazing. Lighters didn't work at all, and I really like Bruno's part.
And the reason people are more critical of Em is he puts it upon himself. He projects the "fuck popstars" image constantly then works with them for a hit. Ye and Jay don't. Em's my GOAT, but he's gotten a lil hypocritical.
No he's just learned to appreciate things alot more now since getting clean you can't hate on him for that.
