lol i had a chat once with copy on facebook chat..he's down to earth

I tried adding him but he didn't accept :sweating: Can't really blame him with 5000 friends though, probably gets tiring.

Welcome To The Academy looks dope :y:

ya but he has talked about removing/deleting some friends who annoy him to accomodate those waiting to add him....and i dont ubderstand why the album is slated to be released in november when the tracklist is already out

Someones mad that Copywrite is better than every fakeass rapper they listen to :coffee:

LOL copout. I ain't even gonna try to debate "mainstream" rappers with a backpacker e-rap fan, so I'll go with some similar artists:

Atmosphere: dope
Aesop Rock: dope
Grieves: dope
Copywrite: a faggot never-was who catches feelings 24/7 and is the definition of jealous. A cocky douche who gives himself way too much credit, takes himself too serious, and is a monotonous twit. And that cover? It's like a horribly done Ye ripoff, the fox is some shitty Graduation Bear. Copywrite will die alone, likely homeless, while beating off to his own CDs.

What, are you an Asher Roth stan? Did Copywrite fuck your bitch? How about you fuck off, you obviously have no clue what you're talking about.
You think your personal attacks make up for what you lack?

No, Asher is/was good but I don't really give a shit about what he does.

I do have a clue, Copywrite is a douchebag and a pussy. He PMS's at every white rapper, he attacked that lil Cage pussy, but got KO'd by Wyclef Jean wayyy back. Like, not even a full punch, Wyclef just kinda swang from his hip and broke his nose. If i can find the vid I'll post it, it''s at a Canibus concert and is funny as shit.

"My face has had more hits than myspace"
Yeah, Wyclef knocked your homeless ass out :coffee:

And Grieves? He's a cool, soulfull dude. I don't even love most of his music or anything, but shit like On The Rocks and Bloody Poetry >>>> Copywrite's career.

So you have a personal beef with Copywrite, understandable. Still can't fault his music though, that's what I thought.

On a Copy related note, Class what song are these punchlines from

"I'll time travel to battle pioneers who influenced me"
"you tried to double cross me & got nailed to a crucifix" (RA did it better, but Copy did it first)
"I use all the planets as love beads for mother earth"

He spit them all on the same verse from some freestyle session with MHz, he also used part of a verse from Seven Light Years in the same session, which is why i'm wondering if he used the other verse on a song.

I don't have "beef" he just sucks as a person.

And yes, i can fault his music. It's monotonous and self important. It's musically dull. It's the same old shit, over and over.

He has some good songs I like, but the vast majority suck. It's just rhyming, he may be a good even "great" rapper to some, but musically he isn't. He's like Papoose kinda, he may be able to rhyme but I don't fuck with him musically.

And have you seen the Wyclef vid?

He's all in Wyclef's face with his chest puffed out and shit and then he gets slumped, and Wyclef just keeps chilling and talking to fans

Exactly what i'm talking about, it's tagged as track 8/This Year, but it's not, it doesn't even have the full session just 2 Copy verses. Also Copy re used a shit ton of punches on This Year

I've tried, I have no clue how. It's old as hell, like 97/98. The vid of him fighting Cage isn't even on Youtube and that was recent.

If someone finds it, +50 internet points. It's like the Lil B KO vid but WAYYYY funnier.

It's the same shit over and over? Did you even listen to this new album? It's nothing at all like anything he's ever released before.

And Copywrite is musically great if you are looking for the kind of music he does, slaughtering verses. Yeah he's not a Kanye West or a Kid Cudi but he doesn't try to be, that doesn't take away from his music whatsoever. You won't find a better emcee than Copywrite, comparing him to Papoose is disgraceful. Just because something isn't your style, doesn't mean it's bad.

His old shit was, and ya his new album is the best of his disco. Not gonna lie, some of the songs on it are real good, I love the way he says "Some regrets you gotta learn to live with..." I just wish he had a better voice for it. Nate Dogg (or Sly) would have KILLED that hook, OMG :flutter:

I was just fucking with his fans mostly with that tracklist lol but he's still a douche. But so is Kanye so whatever

Idk, the only one I recognize is the second one but I can't place it. I've listened to hundreds of Copywrite verses, they all bleed together.
