Best starting point to get into Tech N9ne?

So, I'm about to admit something. Prior to this week I had barely ever listened to anything by Tech N9ne. Yup its true. I recognise that he has a pretty big fanbase however, so I decided I'd try and give some of his stuff a listen. So I did a little search for the most generally-acclaimed albums by Tech N9ne fans. I couldn't find a link for his "6's and 7's" album so I decided to download "K.O.D." instead.

However, I managed to get to around half way through it, and honestly, I wasn't really feeling it that much. Don't get me wrong, the stuff is pretty good but nothing blew me away or nothing particularly interested me enough for me to want to carry on listening... especially when I've got Royce's new "Success Is Certain" album to see me through the week, among other stuff. I just kinda ended up passing K.O.D. by and not returning to it. Yes, I realise that I should give the entire album a listen through a few times before I can properly judge it, but like I said nothing really stood out for me to want to carry on playing it when I've got other new options on my ipod.

But I want to persist. So Tech N9ne fans on here, what could you recommend me of Tech N9ne's that will enable me to see what you guys see in him? Be it a particular song or album - what is a good starting place to get into Tech N9ne?

Tech's albums are LONG and admittedly, the flow could get tiresome without a bit of awe in his greatness. I find All 6's and 7's the most accessible because of all the features on it. B.o.B, Yelawolf, Busta Rhymes, Hopsin, T-Pain, Snoop Dogg.... enough names to keep on looking forward to the next phase but still Tech N9ne enough to hear his range of flows.

Hmm, so let's say....If you were a new listener, would you rather being referred to "Everready" knowing that you have good taste in music and knowing that the sound of "Everready" is mediocre for the most part?

I'd say no. Many people here have different tastes, different ears...Anghellic got a variety of topics that the listener would to hear.

The sound of Everready is the most universally listenable regardless of your taste. I think it's his best album. And that analogy doesn't even make sense, why the fuck would someone reccomend a bunch of random songs thrown together and called a mixtape over a great album?

All 6's & 7's is way more accessible (and better) than Everready. K.O.D is dope as fuck too, that's my favorite Tech album along with A6&7.

I was listening to Diabolic that's why I picked him as an example, lol.
But what I meant was that you don't recommend an album just because it's generic or whatever over a classic album that could literally WOW you.

No. What you're forgeting is that everyone isn't you. Anghellic may have wowed YOU but Everready is his most popular album by far and it's the easiest to listen to so that is the best album for a new listener.

@ Geno, no that's not even close to being the same. Everready is Tech N9ne's "The Eminem Show" in terms of sound. Many people like MMLP better and I like SSLP better but you still wouldn't reccomend those albums.
