who do you prefer?

personally I think kanye is a lot more fun to listen to even though jay has much better lyrics etc...

I feel Kanye has probably overtaken Jay now.

But Jay's next album might change that.

Kanye has always been shit, and made crappy mainstream hip-hop for white hipsters and females. And as a "rapper" he is awful, and almost anyone can rap circles around him, in terms of flow, projection of voice, power, etc.

Jay-Z used to be a good rapper, but is awful now....and is generally overrated anyway.

If I had to pick one though it would be Jay

But anyways I pick Ye, but it's too close to call.

Reasonable Doubt/Black Album/Blueprint can go head to head with CD/LR/MBDTF.
