However, I can see it have being far better if it'd been split into 2 albums. 1 Kanye, 1 Jay. It was still a coherent album, but some songs you could tell were KAnye album type songs and some were Jay's. I think the fact that I was expecting something like MBDTF (in terms of amzingness, not style) kinda hurt my opinion of it, but whatever.
Here's how I see the songs divided, basically:
No Church In The Wild, New Day, Murder To Excellence, and Made In America all had the making of a classic Kanye album. They just had that Kanye feel. Everything else felt like Jay's shit.
IDK, Jay and Kanye are both in my top 10, but I feel like these songs could have been used better. I liked MBDTF and Blueprint 3 (yes, it's a crazy good album) better than WTT. Songs like Nikkas In Paris (can we remove the censor? I'm sick of using k's) would never, ever make a Kanye album purely because of the style.
While WTT shat on H:TS, it was more disappointing. I feel like the songs on WTT could have been used to make a classic Kanye album, and a real dope Jay album. On H:TS, the only song with any real album merit was The Reunion.
Oh well, Kanye said he saved alot of WTT music for his next album so hopefully it doesn't matter. Mr. West has never made a disappointing solo yet, so i ain't worried

how do you not get this...
