I hate using the word 'epic' as it's so overused and now so associated with annoying conformist cocks who think they're edgy. But, there are few better words to describe that.

Kanye really did make that music to shine for live performances. It sounds like a medieval movie soundtrack or something. His music is bigger than hip hop.

I love the grandiose ambitions / arrogance. Arrogance or self-delusion or grandeur is always good for art in my opinion. As long as the artist is talented and has the persistence and dedication to pull of his / her convictions, you usually result in something spectacular.

It's like Kanye is still on one big manic mission though, I love it. I hope he hasn't peaked yet, I want him to keep pushing it. When I get manic it's very exciting, though usually results in nothing. But on the occasion I'm able to focus enough to create something the outcome is usually amazing to myself. I'd expect to see the downfall of his current manic ambition soon though, I think within the next few years we'll probably see something very dark and self-destructive produced by Kanye.

Absolutely killed it, this song is my favorite off of WTT & seeing it performed live with all this intensity was great. Jay biting Em at the beginning of his verse though, first the hoarse screaming followed by the whispering.

Just a joke as to how he started off his verse with a hoarse voice, then started whispering. Em's done that live a few times too.
