TES - Eminem's Best Album (Musically and Lyrically)

Postby EminemBase » Aug 17th, '11, 13:18

I've written new reviews recently for a site called Dooyoo. It's a just a site that anybody can sign-up too and make money by writing reviews.

Naturally, I wrote reviews for Em's albums. Well, I've done the first four, Encore next.

You need to be a member to read the reviews unfortunately, but I wanted to post them here to see what Eminem fans thought of them. Here's a sample of the The Eminem Show review:

Every single track on this album sounds like it should be there. Even the arguably pointless or filler tracks like "Drips" and "Superman" fit absolutely perfectly in tone and gel with everything else on the album with utter ease. Nothing sounds out of place. A rare feat...

So, you need to register to read the rest. When / if you reg, here's the link:
The Eminem Show - Eminem's Best Album (Musically and Lyrically)

Anybody who reads it, let me know what you think, would like feedback. I'm gonna write new and better reviews for my blog soon on all the albums, so these are like first drafts.

I would not call Superman a filler track.

I don't feel like registering just to read it, as I get my fair share of reading your reviews in here on TRshady, but I will say I agree with the threat title.

My fav Eminem album

This. I do agree that TES is Eminem's best album lyrically. The lyrical prowess showcased throughout the album with highlights such as Till I Collapse and Sing For The Moment is something not many rappers will be able to match.

Drips is a filler track though even though I like it a lot.

Which is why I said 'arguably'.

I think it could be easily argued to be a filler track. I'm split on that opinion, though don't really care, it's just a good track. But it could be argued as filler.

Filler does not have to be bad.

And that perception, on that kind of track, could easily and probably does exist. Which is why I mention it and say 'arguably' - without mentioning my stance on it. But it's a perception that exists, and is significant enough to mention.

"Filler" tracks aren't just meaningless songs, they're songs that obviously were put on the album to make it longer. TES has none.
