Just wondering if there are any fellow Muslims in here as i had a question.

Do you listen to music at all during Ramadan, i felt it was appropriate since this was a music thread.

Being serious though i'm an ex Muslim, I became an atheist a few years ago & it seems ever since then my dad just gets more & more religious & won't ever shut the fuck up about how great "Allah" is. So Islam is really starting to piss me off. I find religious guidelines in general to be complete fucking nonsense, seems all of the best shit on this planet is forbidden by religion.

I was a non believer too ,but the recent things that are happening around me made me become a god believer again.

Well yeah, do you expect someone who still draws hope from it to say something like that?

I'm not even criticizing anyone in here personally for believing in it, we all have our vices & religion/worship can be considered an addiction as well as anything else. Junkies think/talk about nothing but drugs most of the time, sex addicts about sex/masturbation, fat people about food, religious people about God.

Just that due to my personal experiences & how my parents use Islam to limit all the shit that I do & if I tell them i'm an atheist i'll probably be kicked out of the house or have all my shit taken away simply because I don't follow the same belief system they do. Religion pretty much kept me from enjoying my childhood & early teenage years.

Well my religion has changed a lot and people have moved on ,so such restrictions are still prevalent though but only at remote areas of my country, i am free to do my thang and the best thing i don't live with my parents to be under any religious pressure [if they wanna impose that on me for some reason].
