Lighters is a really good song but I just wished Royce had a better verse.

Can't tell me shit about the tricks of this trade

Shit just don't change to this day"

About Lighters, I don't listen this song because it's not the kind of music I love, but it's a correct song it could have been worse for a radio song, Bruno Mars is a fucking good artist.
I don't understand the thing of the video, it was to see what exactly.

It was to compare Em in his prime to Em now.

Put the 2010 westwood freestyle and I swear you won't be depressed.

Lighters were not the good choice to compare.

but I prefer the 2009 westwood freestyle, too hilarious.

Why would you compare a freestyle to a song obviously made for radio? Of course your going to have two completely different opinions about it, the purpose and the desired reaction are completely different. All these old vs new comparisons are silly. Look at a picture of a person when they're young, then look at a picture of them when they're old; see things change. You can't be one way forever. If you stop living in the past maybe you'll learn to enjoy the present.

Lighters>Not Afraid tbh imo :coffee:
"This dude doing this interview wants me to spin a few,
Lyrics while I tie my tennis shoes in the nude
A romantic interlude in a livin’ room,
In an inner tube with a dude with a bit of lube
Fuck that I’m sniffin’ glue, sippin' gin & juice,
And a little bit of paint thinner with my dinner too,
You better pay me for my bars like your rent is due,
Now hurry up and finish dude before I finish you."

just watched the video on the right tbh
I wanted an album so rugged nobody could touch it.
Spent a million a track and went over my budget.
Now how in the fuck am I supposed to get out of debt?
I can't rap anymore, I just murdered the alphabet.

Lighters is absolutely horrible though and, along with Not Afraid, is the most embarrasing thing Eminem has ever done sober.

Really, not afraid is embarrassing? What about Big Weenie, Ass Like That, Just Lose It, Wee Wee, Fack, etc.

Think about what you say before you say it.

Ok I made a mistake, real people admit to that, unlike you disrespectful little cunts. I'll say this, I don't think NA was a bad song after since he got sober. It's an inspirational, uplifting, feel good record. I could name 20 songs he's had that are way worst since he's been sober.

Royce's verse definitely isn't about lining up syllables etc but I think it accomplished its goal (a nice pop verse)

Well then good for you, why name them for somebody who cares? I only corrected your mistake, I give no fucks to do your opinion.

I realize this. I really have no problems with you in all honesty, I just thought the VBV verse was distasteful, & you saying I caught feelings over it, I don't think you realize how many times people in hip hop reference one's medical conditions, and how people in those situations would/do feel about the comments, joking or not.

Like for example, Eminem continuously saying shit about Christopher Reeves. While I admit the jabs are hilarious, I won't lie, I still think it's fucked up. Point is, he went too far.
