I never believed in religion, even though I was raised in it. Don't get me wrong, I really wanted to. I did. I went to church regularly, and was even baptized. It never clicked with me though. It was like Santa Clause. I wanted to believe, but I don't know that I ever truly did, at least after I got old enough to think for myself.

Hell, I even prayed to Santa once, trying to change my gift choice. I mean, he's omnipotent, right? But you know what?

First off, all the "sick shit" you've seen by Muslims was probably on the.. TELEVISION. The media literally bad-mouths Islam because they don't want America to be filled with Muslims. Here, go to Google Images. Search up "Islam". You'll see what I'm talkin about. BUNCH of images that show Muslims as TERRORISTS. FUCK THE MEDIA.

And yes, Islam is a religion of peace. Why don't you do yourself a favor and go read the Quran.

And honestly, VBV, I think you should've stuck with your faith. Just because you believe in a religion that restricts you from doing things such as, masturbating, and drinking, etc. Doesn't mean you shouldn't have faith. I'm not trying to sound like some preacher, but the day might come that shows you that you should have stuck with Islam. And never became an atheist.

You were raised with the impression that Islam is the true religion. It would be ignorant to pretend like your view is any more firm or valid than that of some one raised as a Christian or a Jew. I'm not saying you're wrong, but calling other religions bullshit based on what "sounds like the true religion" small-minded, since your subjective view would most likely be different if you were raised differently.
