I find other religions bullshit. Islam to me sounds like the "true" religion.

I support your right to believe what you want, but let's be real.

You were raised with the impression that Islam is the true religion. It would be ignorant to pretend like your view is any more firm or valid than that of some one raised as a Christian or a Jew. I'm not saying you're wrong, but calling other religions bullshit based on what "sounds like the true religion" small-minded, since your subjective view would most likely be different if you were raised differently.

You could be very right. See, I don't know though. They all have similar roots and themes. My problem with organized religion is dogma. I know all three of them have that. All of them have incredible punishments for minor offenses, as far as I can see.

There is good to be found in all religion. I just don't think that it's something that is necessary to be a good person.

One of the fundamental principles common to all religions is that the soul must be purified and if you don't follow its precepts so you will not go to heaven or you will not be reincarnated. For me all religions are alike.
I think people who say their religion is better than another have a closed mind, there is no one better than another or truer than another, if your religion make you grow humanly and bring you comfort and make you a good person, no matter the name of your god.
But that doesn't mean that if you have no religion or no god to worship, you cannot be a good person.
I prefer not follow any religious principles and be free to make my own choices, which doesn't mean that I believe in nothing.

I don't see what harm she was doing praying. There isn't any harm in anyone practicing their religion, as long as it doesn't infringe on some one else's rights. I don't understand why you would do that.
