I think so. It's hard to tell these days what gets classed as a hip-hop and what doesn't like the Black Eyed Peas & Flo Rida for example. But yeah i think Not Afraid probably is in the top 5.

Estimated best selling hip-hop tracks worldwide of 2010:

Love The Way You Lie - Eminem feat. Rihanna
Airplanes - B.o.B. feat. Hayley Williams
Club Can't Handle Me - Flo Rida feat. David Guetta
Nothin' On You - B.o.B. feat. Bruno Mars
Not Afraid - Eminem

Airplanes, Club Can't Handle Me & Nothin On You sold slightly more globally but Not Afraid has a much larger viewing then all of them on youtube.

Was Lose Yourself definitely the biggest hip hop song of the previous decade then? Because Stan was more popular than Lose Yourself here in the UK.

Also, worldwide this decade, Love the Way You Lie is the best-selling SONG of the decade altogether, regardless of what genre it is.

Also, if anybody is interested, the 10 biggest rap songs of 2010 in the UK:

1. Eminem - Love the Way You Lie
2. Usher - OMG
3. B.o.B - Airplanes
4. Tinie Tempah - Pass Out
5. Plan B - She Said
6. Flo Rida - Club Can't Handle Me
7. Travie McCoy - Billionaire
8. The Black Eyed Peas - The Time
9. Tinie Tempah - Written in the Stars
10. Eminem - Not Afraid

13 biggest rap songs of 2011 so far:

1. LMFAO ft. Lauren Bennett & Goonrock - Party Rock Anthem
2. Pitbull ft. Ne-Yo, Afrojack & Nayer - Give Me Everything
3. Snoop Dogg ft. David Guetta- Wet
4. Example - Changed the Way You Kiss Me
5. Chipmunk ft. Chris Brown - Champion
6. David Guetta ft. Flo Rida & Nicki Minaj - Where Them Girls At
7. The Black Eyed Peas - Just Can't Get Enough
8. Diddy ft. Skylar Grey - Coming Home
9. Ke$ha - We R Who We R
10. Mann ft. 50 Cent - Buzzin'
11. Nicki Minaj - Super Bass
12. Dr. Dre ft. Eminem & Skylar Grey - I Need a Doctor
13. Wiz Khalifa - Black and Yellow

People criticize Alex Da Kid, but he seems to be the only person who can produce a rap song and get it in the charts without it being full of club/synth/electro beats at the moment. :(

Who produced Champion? Cuz that song is pretty good.

The 2011 list is pure shite compared to the 2010 list.

Lose Yourself is the biggest song of the past decade? Is there any proof?

And I don't think LTWYL is the biggest song of the decade. Biggest rap song yes though.

Agree. 2011 is dreadful so far in the UK. :( Urban music has been practically non-existant this year. There's a lot of rap songs, but pretty much 90% of them like pop-rap, like Flo Rida/Pitbull-type stuff. :( Radio is just a pain to listen to, because everything sounds the same. The same generic synths, again, and again, and again.

Anyway, rant over.

About Champion, yes, it is quite a good song. Chipmunk isn't an amazing rapper imo. He's been using the same flow as Lil Wayne on a lot of his songs recently, and his recent collabs with Chris Brown, Keri Hilson and Trey Songz have a lot of people thinking he's desperate to crack the US. But I like the song as it's got very good production, as you said, and it's one of the few rap songs that actually sounds vaguely urban anymore.

There was a fair bit of complaining about Champion when it was popular aswell, because Chris briefly refers to his beating up of Rihanna in his verse, and some of the public over-reacted to it, especially since it was Chris's first big hit since 2009.

To actually answer your question, it's apparently produced by a guy called H-Money, who I've never really heard of tbh. I doubt he's produced for many US rappers.

How are they even on the list :facepalm
She Said is not a rap song. Its a shame really cuz i wouldnt have minded another Plan B rap album.
And the others just shouldnt have made the list full stop.

It was #1 for 12 consecutive weeks here in Australia which matched the all time record that still stands to this day. That's a quarter of a year :worship:
