What city do you live in lol. London's easy to get drugs in. In some places, almost as open as the US. Shit, in my area, probably a good third of people smoke weed alone, also pills are here in abundance.

I live near Birmingham. London is probably easier to get drugs in than Birmingham, I would imagine.

Here, there's no drugs, like anywhere. To be fair, there were probably about 10 kids in my year who did weed, but they were all friends with each other, and their older brothers did weed too, so they got it easily. But for everybody else, who wasn't friends with them, there was absolutely no hope of getting any. That's what I meant by the well-connected thing. Like if you're not friends with the right people, it's difficult to get here.

Plus, nobody ever even saw those guys doing weed, so they could've even been lieing to look cool. Since drugs are so rare, it's a really big deal if someone does them, and you become talk of the school if you do even weed, so they might've just been doing it for attention. But I finished college over a year ago now, and since then, I've never met a person that does drugs. Not even one. I've never come into contact with drugs. Never seen anybody doing any. Never seen any syringes or pills lieing around. Not heard of any arrests. Absolutely nothing. Drugs may aswell not exist here in Birmingham.

Well, those guys from my school might've genuinely been telling the truth about doing drugs. But other than that, I know nobody. There's probably only been two instances where anything drug-related has happened near me.

The first one, incidentally, the closest I ever got to drugs was when I was in Junior School. I would've been about 8 years old at the time, but these guys came to the school gate at lunch time to sell drugs. They managed to come for a few days before they got noticed (and then sent to prison). Nobody ever actually bought any. I guess those guys probably thought 7-11 year olds would be easy targets for selling drugs to, but I think they also forgot to realize that most 7-11 year-olds also don't have any money to buy them in the first place!!

The second one was in a park, round the corner from my house. About 5 years ago, a guy got arrested for selling drugs there. And ever since then, the parents have been not letting their kids go to that park and stuff. They're all terrified of it. I think it's so stupid really, because you hear all the parents going on about how "they sell drugs in that park round the corner", even though it was just one incident, years and years ago.

That's pretty much the only times drugs have ever been even close to being a part of my life tbh.
