Lowkey - Dear England

Postby MikeNUFC » Oct 7th, '11, 16:34

Dunno if this has been posted, haven't been on here properly for a while, but it was played on radio a few weeks ago and this is the rip off it.

It's from Soundtrack To The Struggle (9 days to go!!!), and is probably one of his best songs. Phenomenal rhyming, clear message, focused lyrics, lovely flow (especially when he switches it up) and great delivery. The hook is nice and that parody of God Save The Queen/Rule Brittania at the start is brilliant (pretty sure he got the idea from my 'Patriotic' piece on here....)

From what I've hard of the album so far, this is argubaly the best track. Can't wait for a high quality version... got the album on pre-order, 16th October shall be a great day.

His flow on this is amazing. Maybe I should give his album a listen. It's funny how I love this guys music but never thought to check more. Only listened to "Obama Nation", "Terrorist" (my fav.), "Million Man March" and now this.

Yeah, I'm suprised at how great his flow is; aside from a few tracks it's probably his weakest point, a little bit choppy at times. Either that or his occasional overuse of cliches.

Nice one, didn't see this song. Just preordered the album today, can't wait...Kinda depressing how many are already out though, doesn't feel like too much to look forward to.
