MBDTF has to win this. I didn't even really like the album, but I know how technically impressive it is. Thank God it's not the mtv awards, Wayne would win every award, starting with a new category titled 'Best artist named Lil Wayne'.

I think it'll be Lil Wayne, Carter 4... purely because of it's commercial success.

Shame Eminem didn't release an album, he won it in 2010 and 2011.

(I doubt Hell: The Sequel will even be nominated)

They've been pretty accurate with this award.

Em was definitely right to win for his first three albums. All of them.

But then they showed they're fair and conscious by having Kanye win over him for Encore, which was of course correct. Encore shouldn't of won, and it didn't.

I think Relapse winning is debatable but wasn't much up against it to be honest, Mos Def's album maybe should of won but... I think that's overrated in the circles that it is rated in. But I'd accept an argument on that winning over it. But, Relapse is awesome.

On Recovery winning... I can't recall what else was up?

I think only two rap albums ever have won the Album of the Year award too right? which, is just not right. Lauryn Hill and OutKast, both worthy winners and for worthy albums. But there's definitely been other albums in between and after, a few, that should of won that.

It was againts The adventures of bobby ray, Blueprint 3, Thank me later and How I got over of The Roots. Some say The Roots should have won but I haven't heard that album.

It was againts The adventures of bobby ray, Blueprint 3, Thank me later and How I got over of The Roots. Some say The Roots should have won but I haven't heard that album.

I was rooting for The Roots to win that one as i think How I Got Over is just about the best album in that category. Bobby Ray & Recovery were both at the top of the list though. The Roots went home with 3 Grammys this year (1 more than Em) so all is good.

I love B.o.B and I like his debut, I don't feel it's a better album than Recovery though. But, it does have some amazing material ("Don't Let Me Fall" / "Ghost in the Machine").

No way BP3 should of won either. I actually don't mind the album but its content and execution are not as noteworthy as that of Recovery... Roots is the only truly debatable one.
