[Chorus]
Thank you all my friends
for being there when I needed you.
Thank you all my friends
for helping me seeeee it thru.

[Verse 1]
Thank you all for being there
thru the thick and thin,
While I battled my demons,
all of these wicked men.
Kolten and Brittney,
John and Ryan,
Ricky and Taylor
and Thomas Swanson.
My mind's been racin'
eating me from within,
I gotta tell ya'll how I feel
where the hell do I begin?
Kolten, damn, bro
you're like my frickin' best friend,
Yeah I piss you off,
but all the beef always ends,
cuz in the end we know
we got each other's backs,
I'd take a bullet in mine
for you not to deal with any crap.
Call me and I'm there,
I know that shit is vice versa,
You always talk me thru the pain
when my mind is hurting.
Whenever I'm feelin' down
your ears are always open,
I fucking love you, Kolten,
our friendship is never broken.
Brittney, I'm so glad our paths crossed,
whenever I need a pick me up
you help me when I am lost.
You say the right things
that help me to my feet,
I thank you with all my heart
for helping me finally see,
That I'm not a lost cause,
I gotta go for shock and awe.
Live the life you have
and get back up if you fall.
John man, what the hell can I say?
That you make me laugh till I cry
pretty much every day.
It's insane, we think so much alike,
I couldn't find another Tieszen
even if I tried.
Why am I saying this?
There's no certainties in life,
today I could be talking here
next day I could die.
I wanna tell all of you how much you mean to me,
You're all with me when I breathe
and you're my reason to be.
Everytime I pick up the pen
you inspire my rhymes,
In every syllable I spit
every bar and every line.
I bet ya'll didn't know
that if wasn't for Ryan,
I wouldn't even had found rap,
nah I ain't lying.
This guy got me into it,
he sent me a song,
Eminem rapped it
it was called "when I'm gone".
That shit made me cry,
then I fell in love
with the shit that Eminem did,
when I felt like I was done,
with life, I put on his tracks,
Made me take off the noose,
since then I ain't looked back.
I can't pick and choose.
But I can pick my friends,
and I picked them well,
not having them makes my heaven a living hell.
Ricky, you little bastard,
nah, just kidding, dawg,
I love the fact that we
both really hate God.
You made my school life bearable,
black or grizzly?
It's not what you're thinking dude,
please don't kill me!
Kill shot, kill shot!
Just kidding again,
Do you even know much I want you to pick up a pen?
You have so much potential to spit dope and ill,
If only you could harness it, fresh blood would spill.
Taylor, I've known you my whole life,
minus a few years but thru the struggles and strife,
you've been there for me,
I thank you for that.
You probably hate me at times,
but at others we laugh.
I don't get it,
I'll prolly never understand you,
But that's why we're friends,
we're like a mystery to solve, who?
You gonna call? Haha, what a laugh,
You mangy old dog,
stop humping my lap!
Thomas Swanson, even tho you're my exec,
I promise with all my heart that firstly you're a friend.
We've grown a bond I'd like to think and when I place this ink,
I never wanna disappoint ya, buddy just think,
that six years down the road, we could be playing on stage,
living the life that we made, ain't it great?
oh yeah, almost forgot Scott and his Sara,
you go together like breadsticks and marinara. Haha.
Like the stars above, damn I love all of you,
Thank you for supporting me, now that you know the truth.
Damn... and I gotta just say that
if it wasn't Jordan too, I prolly never woulda rapped.
Yeah what you did to me was just damn cold,
But you've given me the strength to get on with life as I know it.
You'll always have a place in heart when the world gets dark,
I think of you holding my hand, And it's that much needed spark.
Just know I still love you, maybe not in that way,
But at the end of the day, What the hell can I say, eh?
Kolten and Brittney,
John and Ryan,
Ricky and Taylor
and Thomas Swanson
you're my backbone, you hit my tracks home,
even if we split up after high school,
Damn... I'll never forget you...
And to all of you guys...
To all my friends...
Thank you.
Love all of you...

I like it. Really nice and chill to listen to. You could tell it's really personal too. Thanks for sharing. I'm also currently writing a song for a lady friend of mine. :y:

i liked it man, i can tell you spoke from the heart. the lyrics were good but again your delivery is what is holding back the song from being really good. you were on beat most of time but again your delivery needs work. other than that though. :y:

Lmao damn that's all one verse? Beat really isn't my thing. You've improved a lot in writing I can tell. Your delivery did sound really boring, like you didn't care. I like your adlibs and overlays. You need some more mic presence my friend! Your flow was pretty decent. Concept is great, and for your level I think you pulled it off fine. You know what you need to work on, and only time will help you. Keep droppin'.

Thanks for the feedback guys!!

@ Solace - I think given the lyrics, I do care haha. I was trying to do a Mockingbird type delivery, chill and laidback yet full of heart and passion. I don't wanna yell at them, ya know? I don't wanna talk loud. Just be like "damn... i'm so glad I have you guys." type voice. Thanks though man! Glad I'm improving!!

@ Tical - I explain above what my delivery was like. I wanted it that way and I just can't envision spittin' any other way would have the same emotional effect. Yelling? Actually rapping (loud voice, etc)? I needed a laid back chill voice and I think I got that.

@ TJ - Thanks! Glad it sounded personal to you, which is what I was going for.

The people I wrote it for absolutely loved it (they're biased haha), but nonetheless, they loved it, which is what I made this particular track for, so it's a success! :)

Dude....Who...Made..This beat?...And what VST was used to make those pads?

For the lyrics, sounded a bit dull but you used nice doubling and flow.
.The flow was constantly the dododododo, dododododo.
I loved the consistency throughout the track.

Overall, it's good for you, it's probably the best song you've done.

Thomas Swanson made the beat. And I don't know what VST or whatever was used. He just makes them and I use them haha.

Glad to see you liked my flow but not glad about my voice... oh well.

Thanks!

The beat is just so......gawd :8) and your lyrics speak to me, im jealous because I have trouble trying to convey certain emotion in songs but you did it seamlessly in my opinion, and I enjoyed your flow as well.
