Time is the key when you're a young Artist and already have a big name in this Art.He's 16 or 17 something ,he is just trying to put all his hands in the Pie and take out anything that he would able to salvage with ,ignoring whether he will be taken serious or not. His voice has to mature a lot to Rap lmao that adds another two years ,till then he can practice and improve.Luda is wasting his time if he thinks that he can make him Rap at this point of time and get some recognition.

A lot of the links/pics I've posted in the last year or so, if they're dead, there is a probability that I have archived it on Archive.today.

This is true, maybe Luda's trying to pull a Dre with Bieber. Then again, Em could write before Dre knew of him. Let's see what happens in 2 years.

Justin Bieber will never ever get any recognition as a rapper from anyone who knows Hip Hop. Not possible.

I agree, but who really knows? What if he was able to somehow pop out a 2011-Illmatic? Not likely, but I mean, you couldn't really ignore that if that happened.

If he ever gets to that stage ,believe me he will be known as the White Lil Wayne.

He won't. He'll never be an extraordinary lyricist and how should he ever release any rap music with appealing, credible subject matter?

Seriously, it's impossible.

............ Oh God.

@Sekou: True. I don't think he'd have decent subject matter.

I also don't think he'd have the necessary breath control, utterance to make his voice and flows interesting. These things can be learned though, but honestly, I don't see that happening.

Did you see that video of him covering the first verse of Lose Yourself at one of his shows? Worse than Taylor Swift. Most of the people on this forum could do it better, maybe even Mahmoud.

And also, his chances of remaining successful are a lot higher in that cross-genre pop music he's doing so I doubt he'll quit that anytime soon.

Let's forget that it's Justin Bieber, so people can't blame this on the fact it's him. Anyone who tries to get onto the cypher without even writing their own verse is a douche regardless, I agree completely with the decision and would be disgusted if anyone was let on without writing their own shit.

Very true. Maybe he's trying to pull a Chris Brown and experiment?

He by default has a pretty boy Image ,this will hamper him as far as being taken serious is concerned.

I agree. The image he has now, and the amount of people that hate him, means that even in the shocking occurance that he did turn out to be a good rapper, I think it would be difficult for him to be accepted.

It reminds me a bit of back when Britney Spears did a couple of RnB songs. They really weren't that bad imo, but I think the fact that she was Britney Spears, "princess of pop", etc. meant she didn't get played on urban radio, etc. I think it would be a similar thing here with Justin.

I feel a bit bad for Justin really. I know this sounds silly, but in a few years he'll probably look back at the songs he did and regret it so much.
