Nu-metal & rap/rock

Postby KaZer » Oct 11th, '11, 19:52

Does Anyone recommend me good nu-metal, more like rap/rock bands?
I'm trying to expand my taste in different type of music. Im not into Country, Pop, Techno or rock pop shit.

I have some
Limp bizkit
Korn - Follow the leader
offspring
Rage against the machine
Linkin' park

WTF?
Park are still heavy as hell live..
Mike says he feels awesome when I seen him at Brisbane.
Just because they release a crappy CD doesn't mean they fell off..
But whatever.

BTW, the OP should check out some thrash metal bands too if he's interested in metal.
Start off with some Metallica and work your way up to other 80s bands.

Korn is amazing. Their debut is dark, creepy, heavy, and great for Halloween. FTL is their best though. I like just about all of their stuff. :smoking:

Check out System Of A Down,Sevendust,Mushroomhead,Slipknot,Mudvayne,Steromud, etc.

Did you actually ever listen to Meteora, or did you just do what most did and decide to only like their early work to be cool? Meteora is like Hybrid Theory on steroids. Granted Minutes to Midnight was mediocre and A Thousand Suns sucked penis, but still.

I doubt they would be able to memorize like 448595858 songs like those on the first 2 albums at all..It's probably why they changed musical direction..
