Nah, people might consider their favorite artist to be Eminem, but favorite album is different. Unless you only listen to whack shit ass rappers, of course. My favorite album's a Lupe Fiasco album, but Lupe's only is my top 5 favorite rapper. Vice versa my favorite artist's Jay-Z but he doesn't have an album on my top 5 favorite album list. A whack rapper can blast you off with an incredible album as well.

And thank god ignorant stans don't post in this section.

Point noted. I just posted the Album that had the Max impact on me, it also happens to be the Album that I hear everyday.

Even I listen to n number of rappers but this Album managed to top the list. :b:

A few gems on there. I like "They Don't Care About Us"

This time-period - sadly - was when MJ thought he was Stalin or god or something... Watch this... (trailer for the album...)

No way am I hyping this up to be a top five album, mixtape, whatever; the fact that it hasn't even officially dropped yet prevents it from being one. Yeah I know a lot of people probably expected it to be Deltron, illmatic, SC, or any underground or 90s album however this "mixtape" resonated with me the most and is what really got me into Hip Hop. Yes, I've listened to Eminem and Nas before this but before this I just dicked around the genre without really delving into it. I still enjoy this almost as much I did when I first listened to it even after being exposed to a variety of "better" Hip Hop and is one of the easier mixtapes to listen to. Whenever I take a long break from Hip Hop I can still easily enjoy a lot of the songs when my ears adjusted to other genres. Favorites would be "Get at these Ni.ggaz" (has Lil Wayne's best verses), Ignition, Hot Shit, Black Republican, Rewind.

Supposedly they're supposed to drop the album or mixtape soon, yeah let's hope so it's been over five years.

The Slim Shady LP.

I've talked about this more into-depth before but I'm just gonna say that '99 Em to me was the best rounded MC ever. As far as humor, flow and rhyming go this album had it all. No other LP has made me laugh and left me amazed as much as this one.
