I think they do this at a highschool near me. Its on the news every year. And the "dead" person in the car is usually a teacher. But I don't know about the helicopter part

they had it at my high school open to everyone and optional. i skipped, i think i was avoiding a teacher or somthing.

they did that at our school, but someone was dressed in all black, and put a black ribbon around a person's neck and they couldn't talk for the rest of the day, and no one could talk to them, it was strange
