When i listened to the first 6 or so tracks i was like fucken album of the year then we went into the main stream stuff 7-13 tracks were just not type songs i like from yelawolf. Then album picks up for last few tracks and bonus songs. Not thats its bad hes a main stream artists now i expected this when he signed to shady.
Now i also expect same thing from slaughterhouse album alot of main stream shit we not used to in there albums.
This review sums its up.

I still love the album but if you were older fan of yelawolf and expected an album similar to Trunk Muzik 0-60 you will be disappointed. Nothing wrong with main steam but to many of songs fit this nature. I would been fine with 2 single type songs with popy female hooks and beats but not 7 songs off album more than half of it. Not saying the lyrics are not good there just not what i expected from his albumMan1x wrote:xnoxiousx wrote:After listening to album 7 times thorough or so i got to say its not a classic like he hyped it to be. Mainstream doesn't mean bad music, it shows Another side of Yela, gives the album more variety, and opens him to a larger crowd. The album still flows well, had amazing production, and amazing lyrics. I believe Radioactive is classic but I can understand that group of songs won't appeal to many on here but in the bigger picture they are need due to the large competition he has and he hasn't blow up yet. In the big picture I don't believe these tracks detract from the album but instead add something to it. Artist have I evoke and change, which he did so IMO it's classic but I respect your judgement. it's good an artist does something you don't expect to see or you'll get bored, that's how I approach those tracks.
