Agreed. However our good friends at SL think Yela's a flopping failure. As we all were aware of, he never had good promotion to begin with. Yes, this is on a Black Friday weekend, but still. Nobody even knew dude had an LP coming out. I asked all my friends irl if they knew Yela had an album coming out and none of them knew. Interscope seems to only really care for their juggernauts (Em, Lady Gaga, etc.), unless Em's at fault here, in which case he should have stepped his game up.

Cole's mixtapes were popular, plus he was on the Blueprint 3. Then, Who Dat came out, plus the major mainstream single with Drake "In the Morning" came out.

Pretty much. I wonder what exactly was Interscope thinking while Yela was making the album? Think about it, Cole didn't have that much promotion from the label either, but since Em and Yela were working close, you'd think Interscope would at least have some stuff circuiting around.

I dont think they will drop him from label. Seriously if they do i will lose all respect from label and em. They needed to permotion him more they only good permotion he got was the shady 2.0 at bet. He should been on alot more shows or interviews and appearances. They did to many em albums in row they expect music to sell with no permotion at all due to fact that they dont need do any when em comes out with an album.
