well actually i was studying about this...i have a test in biology tommorow :'( but anyway i read that since fossil fuels are running out people are looking for alternative sources which are environmentally friendly cos well when fossil fuels are combusted they cause air pollution and produce carbon dioxide that contributes to global warming.....but it seems the new energy resources r good,i mean at least they're renewable so we don't have to worry about future generations but who knows?in the long run they we might fuck that up too...
ok i'm really sorry i'm going on and on cos i could go on forever... i've been studying for like 4 days  i like it but it gets boring and i have a headache from all that studying :'(

there are many other sources.

BUT.

Theres the cost of production - While theres oil, its still cheaper to use oil.

To convert matter to energy you need energy - the same oil is gonna be used to power those hydrogen power plants.

There are already cars running on various alternative sources, but what car company will just give up its petrol based car production while they can still seel them?

Yeah we are running out of resources on Earth. We are just gonna go and look into space now and find away to use the junk out there. Thats why China has sent up a rocket.
